I suggest making a 3x3 chunk sugar cane farm. Once you get a good income rolling, start up a small cow farm. From there, advance to Silverfish, which is the best spawner for money.

Cows are bad to start with save time and money and just grind to 20m for a ig (that doesn't take that many hoppers) then you have income from afking the ig and sugarcane then progress to making a silverfish farm (does use alot of hoppers though)
idk if ur talking about factions or opfactions because there isn't igs in normal factions

if your talking about normal factions just do the same thing except make a silverfish farm

Get an irl job and just buy money like everybody else. Just kidding.
The only thing I play on the server are factions and I found out how to make money by trial & error.
I made a huge cactus farm only to realize it doesn't make that much money. Now i've come to the conclusion.

1.
As said before make a sugarcane farm and afk that. I wouldn't go for the cow spawner before silverfish, just save enough money to do the silverfish, in the conclusion, it pays more time wise than to go cow and then silverfish.

2.
This doesn't make a ton of dough, but it makes money on the side doing something you need to. When making a base if you are not using chunk busters you will probably be mining out the floor for walls if that's what kind of base you have. Merely get a burst pick, preferably a Burst III pick since they are the best, get Magnet I on it and just mine the floor for walls. Sell the sandstone and you get about 2k for an inventory of sandstone. It's decent money to start out with and you are mining out walls which everybody needs to do.

Yeah like most people have already mentioned massive sugar cane farms are the best way to start out. Cows make tons of money if you put the cash into them. After you get a good cow farm going, I'd progress to silverfish as you'll have a steady flow of cash to buy them.

To start you could do wheat and Sugar cane and a cactus farm and afk for awhile when you are not playing and that can get you a start. Then if you earn enough money you can buy a spawner like a cow is a good source of money skeleton and many others!
