This is a mod designed for clients to improve the farming experience of everyone, it provides you with the same features of the Premier Gardeneer Hat and some other features.
Originally it was made to grant players access to the 'Plant Registry' and the 'Nutrient Vision' of the Premier Gardeneer Hat via two buttons in your HUD only, but now it also includes other features which will become enabled with the nutrient vision to make farming easier for everyone:
Available Features:
Colored Crops
Crops start changing their colour if they detect any source of stress:
(Upper in 100% sanity, lower in 0% sanity)
Color meaning from left to right:
Red
Killjoy
Killjoys do bother your nearby crops and increase their stress.
Killjoys include Weeds, Spoiled Plants, or Garden Detritus.
Try to get rid of them if they spawn in your crops farm.
Pink
Harmless Killjoy
A killjoy which does not bother any of your nearby crops yet.
Killjoys include Weeds, Spoiled Plants, or Garden Detritus.
Despite the fact that they don't bother your plants yet it might be useful or not to get rid of them.
Yellow
Tendable
This crop has not been attended yet during this growth stage.
Crops can be attended to by talking to them or by using an item which attends to nearby plants (e.g. One-Man Band, Beefalo Horn, Shell Bells, etc.)
Blue
Thirsty
There's no water left in the ground.
Water your farm with a Watering Can.
Green
Hungry
There are not enough nutrients available in the ground.
Fertilize your Farm Plot with the respective required nutrients.
Cyan
Alone
There are less than 3 plants of the same kind nearby.
Plant more crops of the same kind nearby to satisfy its requirements.
Only visible during the seed stage.
White
Tendable & Alone
Combines the effects of Tendable & Alone.
Talk to this crop & plant more crops of the same kind nearby.
Only visible during the seed stage.
Black
Parent
This Plant is already fully grown but harvesting it will increase the stress of certain nearby plant(s) since this plant is one of only three other family plants which satisfies its requirements for a family.
Only visible if harvestable.
None
Happy
No stress detected.
Note that your crop can still be bothered by nearby killjoys or the lack of a family.
Ground Analyzer
Walking above a Farm plot creates a table which shows you the currently available nutrients in the soil & a statistic about how many nutrients will be consumed by the plants:
Balance
Shows the amount of nutrients plants do consume or produce with each growth stage. These numbers are reduced by 50% if the current season is not one of the plant's favorite seasons since plants do grow 50% slower in that case.
Total
Shows the total amount of consumed or produced nutrients if every plant reaches their full size.
Available
An estimation of the currently available nutrients in the soil (it is inaccurate because you can't get better values from the soil as a client).
Holding any fertilizer or plant seeds will show you how it will affect your farm if applied/planted.
Crop Analyzer
Examining a farm plant via your Force Inspect button shows you some information about it, including all the available stress sources for that plant and the meaning of the current colour.
Others
Researched Plants:
- All: Unlocks available plants & fertilizers in your Plant Registry (This will not affect your real data and you won't be able to research any farm plants, weeds or fertilizers while this option is active)
- Seeds Only: Unlocks only the required research to make crop seeds display the name of the crop.
Update 1.5:
- Colour of harmless Killjoys is now bit less obvious
- Fixed a bug causing crops not be marked as Parent
- Improved the required water guesser a bit (now also includes naturally drained water)
- Added Simplyfied Chinese to the languages (Translated by 琪莎猫)
This mod is able to support different languages, I can implement any language you want into the mod if you send me a translated version of the string files.
